I thought of doing an alphabet app because I would always look at simple ways of encouraging my children to learn their letters. When I looked for simple apps which only focuses on the alphabet without including things like phonics and spelling games, I have not been able to find one. So this is what I based my second app on and designed the first page to make it bright and fun looking. I used the fonts on appfurnace and imported the image.

Pressing start bring the user to this page of the full alphabet.

I've made each buton a link. There is a small instruction telling the user to click on the letters to find out what they mean but this is more for a reader of the app more than the child as those learning the alphabet are not yet able to read.

There is a back button which takes you back to the start and a next button wich takes the user to the first letter, being A, of course.
When the user clicks a letter a moving illustration of each letter appears along with the text to explain what each letter is for
I found it quite hard to find .gif images for all of the letters but this is ultimately what the images are made to do
I added the 'i' for information about the app where users will find instructions and other features such as maybe an option to upgrade to higher levels such as phonics and spelling etc.
The idea for the finished app would be that for every letter selected there will have an audio feature which also tells the user out load what every letter is.

There would also be a 'see more' button which will take the user to a page where various object images that begin with the letter selected.
